Booty Parlor Parties November 2009 Newsletter

booticiannews1.jpg
Hello Fabulous Booticians! Lauriedear.gifI love this time of year and Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It’s the time when I have all of my family and friends over and we feast on fabulous food, watch football, share stories and create new memories while taking the time to be thankful for all of the things we have. That’s what I love most – that it brings everyone together.Speaking of being thankful, I have to share a quick story about the impact the Direct Sales industry, and Booty Parlor Parties, has had on me and my family. Two months ago, my son’s girlfriend, Ashley, had just lost her job, and one day while discussing her plans, my son suggested that she consider becoming a Sexy Lifestyle Advisor. Not only was it a huge compliment, but it also speaks to the amazing source of income and the positive impact this industry has created for the people in my life. Today, I’m so proud to say that Ashley is a Sexy Lifestyle Advisor.

Before your next party, take a moment to reflect on how being a Sexy Lifestyle Advisor has changed your life, and those of the people around you, for the better. The Sexy Revolution is about changing women’s lives by helping them establish their own sexy self confidence. I know that each and every one of you has an inspiring story about how the business has changed your life! Don’t be afraid to share it, or you’ll miss the opportunity to share this special gift of amazing products and fabulous income with the women around you.

Let’s make November a month to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving!

Be Happy Be Sexy! Laurie

Bootician In Profile: Rhunda ClevelandRhunda Cleveland is this month’s next Bootician in Profile. Read on to catch a glimpse of what motivates her in achieving success.BP: Congratulations on an amazing month! You have your team in tip-top shape, played a large role in helping your Upline, Cameron Long, achieve Silver Leader and your Sponsor, Karla Savage, achieve Leader. In addition, you ALMOST achieved Leader status yourself! What are you going to do to ensure that you promote next month?.

RC: My team and I have lots of smaller projects going on, along with having some solid goals in place for next month. We’re trying out some smaller ‘Girls Night Out’ style events, small-scale Sexy Socials and, I have made a contract with my spa for a ½ price service day we’re calling Sexy Sundays that will feature our products. Overall, we do everything as a team, which works out beautifully.

BP: Wow, that’s fantastic! Tell us a bit about yourself.

RC: I’m a tax accountant by day and a Sexy Lifestyle Advisor by night. I’m single, and have lots of time to be social and network, which I love to do. My team and I frequently go out together to dinner or events, and we’re all in touch pretty much every day. I’m known as the “party person” and love to meet new people. Hobby-wise, I work out twice a day and love online games and my Wii. [laughs]

BP: Please tell us how and when you found out about Booty Parlor Parties and why you decided to become a Sexy Lifestyle Advisor?

RC: I first ran across Booty Parlor’s products, specifically the Seduction Kit, through Victoria’s Secret. I really loved the Massage Oil, and when I ran out, I visited the Booty Parlor website looking for more, where I found out about becoming a Sexy Lifestyle Advisor. I love the party atmosphere, and am always giving sex tips to friends, and knew immediately that this was for me. By the time I got in touch with my now Sponsor, Karla, it was pretty much just to confirm (I signed up three hours later, and purchased the Career Kit right away, I was so sure about it.) That was back in May of this year, and I’ve been enjoying it ever since!

BP: Awesome! Since you’ve been with us, what is it that keeps you excited about the business?

RC: I’ve loved all the ladies I’ve met, from the people with the company to the party Hostesses etc., and the ‘Girls Night Out’ atmosphere. And my favorite products are Russell (for his versatility) and the Don’t Stop Massage Oil.

BP: Have you had prior experience in Direct Sales, and what would you say are the most important things for newcomers to learn about the industry in order to succeed?

RC: This is my first experience, but I have had friends in the industry, and knew that if I ever did join in, it would have to be for a company with products that literally sell themselves. The best part is that I see my role as being here to introduce people to them. But I’ve realized that you need to talk about what you do and give a first-person account for them to see your excitement – it makes all the difference.

I have found that having a steady calendar of two parties a week is the key to growing: shopping online is nice, but it doesn’t compare to the experience of the in-home party.

BP: What are some of your personal secrets to success?

RC: I am always telling my team that they have to want to be successful, and that they have to have a plan in place to make it happen. And that the support we receive from headquarters and our Sponsors is phenomenal, so if you want to achieve, you will.

BP: So true. On that note, do you have any specific team and/or personal goals? Elaborate on what has helped you stay motivated to build your business.

RC: I want my whole team to achieve Great Start and promote to Executive Bootician by the end of the year. I want to promote to Leader by then as well. We have a team goal to personally recruit two new team members this month too, because it’s the small goals that lead to the larger ones.

BP: How do you introduce women to the business opportunity? And how do you ensure that you have a constant, full calendar of parties?

RC: I try to feel people out, and be sensitive to an individual’s situation by catering to their needs. The new catalog and company brochures are fantastic tools, and I’m handing them out all the time. That and I try to book my parties out no more than a month in advance while using the monthly incentives.

BP: You have seven team members, which is fantastic. What do you find is your most important role as Sponsor?

RC: I think my biggest role is to be their cheerleader by encouraging them to get out there and promote their businesses, and showing them by example that taking initiative is key.

BP: Aside from those great tips, are there any other business tools that you’ve found useful, or things you would recommend for new Booticians?

RC: That they should practice their presentation a lot, and when their Kit arrives, to have a Kit opening party- that’s how my first two team members signed up!

BP: You’ve got it, fabulous! Thanks so much and congratulations again on being chosen for this month’s SLA in Focus!
